Who We Are

Our mission is to be an inclusive and welcoming club committed to excellence in fostering the sport of figure skating by providing opportunities and support necessary for figure skaters of all levels to achieve their goals.

The name Great River Figure Skating Club calls to mind images of greatness, mightiness and connection. Inver Grove Heights sits on the banks of the Mississippi River. Passing close by is the Great River Road, a collection of roadways that connects us to the figure skating clubs of Minnesota and other states. It is through connection that we are building a figure skating community at the Veterans Memorial Community Center that will thrive within the wider network of local and national figure skating organizations.
